About OECM

Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM) is a trusted not-for-profit collaborative sourcing partner for 1000+ entities in Ontario’s education sector, broader public sector, and other not-for-profit organizations. On December 18, 2024, OECM chose AB as an awarded supplier for Online Marketplace Platform Services under the RFP #2023-417. This RFP was undertaken within the scope of Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (“CFTA”), Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement ("CETA"), and within the scope of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario.

Under this award, OECM members can procure an expansive selection of small-ticket items across multiple categories. OECM members also gain free access to Amazon Business Prime1 in the first year, and an exclusive 75% discount on Amazon Business Prime2 in second and third years3. With Amazon Business Prime, members have access to additional benefits, including:

  • Free survey and analytics tools
  • Guided Buying features for approval workflows on specific purchasing thresholds

  • If you use your Amazon account for business purchases, you can convert your existing account to a business account. However, please ensure that the email ID associated with the account is your business email ID.

     

    If you already use your business email ID on a personal Amazon account, we recommend to change to a personal email ID (you can do this in the 'Login & Security' option on Your Account).
